Real Valladolid 2023/24 Home Shirt - X-Large (9/10)

The Story Behind the Jersey

A beautiful Real Valladolid home jersey from the 2023/24 season, when the traditional Spanish club fought to return to La Liga after relegation the previous year.

Under manager Paulo Pezzolano and with players such as Monchu, Raúl Moro, Sergio Escudero and Mamadou Sylla, Real Valladolid delivered a strong season in Spain's second tier, the Segunda División.

The club finished in second place, thereby securing direct promotion to La Liga. The promotion was celebrated after a dramatic end to the season, where Valladolid could once again look forward to facing Spain's biggest clubs.

The jersey is produced by Kappa and is a special tribute to the 40th anniversary of Real Valladolid's Copa de la Liga triumph in 1984, where the club defeated Atlético Madrid in the final.

The classic purple and white design combines vertical stripes with a retro-inspired polo collar and gold-colored details. The jersey is a modern interpretation of the club's historic look from the 1980s.

A distinctive Spanish football jersey from the season in which Real Valladolid secured their return to La Liga.
