A classic Liverpool home shirt from the 2012/13 season, when the historic English club embarked on a new era with both a new manager and a new kit manufacturer.

Brendan Rodgers took over as manager in the summer of 2012 and began the task of building a new Liverpool team. With key players such as Steven Gerrard, Luis Suárez, Daniel Agger and Lucas Leiva, alongside new faces like Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge, the club laid the foundations for the attacking football of the seasons to come.

Liverpool finished the season in seventh place in the Premier League, while Luis Suárez became the club's standout star with 23 league goals.

The shirt also marked the start of Liverpool's partnership with American company Warrior Sports, which took over from adidas. The design was inspired by the club's classic shirts from the 1970s and 1980s, with a simple red base, gold details and the iconic Liverbird logo.

A great piece of Liverpool nostalgia from an important transitional period in the club's history.
