The story behind the shirt

A classic FC Porto home shirt from the 2015/16 season, when the Portuguese giants began a new partnership with New Balance after several years with Warrior Sports.

The season was an eventful one for FC Porto, who, with stars such as Iker Casillas, Yacine Brahimi, Héctor Herrera, Rúben Neves and Vincent Aboubakar, vied for the Portuguese title.

Along the way, head coach Julen Lopetegui was replaced, and the club finished the season in third place in the Primeira Liga. Porto also reached the final of the Portuguese Cup, where Braga won after a penalty shootout.
